Our purpose: To encourage and support new filmmakers to make non violent movies. We do this by providing small grants for short films, and seed money for feature films. New filmmakers are the future of movies. We also encourage established filmmakers to use their influence to help reverse the trend towards ever increasing violence in all media. |

The non violent movie foundation educates about the harm caused by media violence. There are articles on media violence and thoughts and ideas on how to change things. If you are concerned about media violence this website is for you. Please tell others if you want to see more non violent movies instead of violent movies. |

We want to fund our first short film! Actually, we would like to fund about 10 short films ASAP! How and why we do this is explained on the Mission Statement page. Please have a look.
